Exhibition: Time RememberedA photographic exhibition held in conjunction with the showing of the combined works of Andrey Tarkovsky in the Kommunale Kino Stuttgart, from 10th March to 2nd May 2001. The exhibition showed stills from his films, behind-the-scenes snapshots, as well as family photos. The exhibition was organized by Anastasia Alexandrowa with the assistance of Oliver Scholz, and is documented here by Burkhard Walther in black and white photos. Nostalghia.com is greatly indebted to Mr. Burkhard Walther of Germany for providing us with these spectacular photos documenting Time Remembered. These photos, along with quotations from the diaries of Tarkovsky and from his book Sculpting in Time in both English and German translation, are also featured on Burkhard's own site, photo-document.com. Mr. Walther informs us that some very distinguished guests appeared at the Stuttgart showing last spring: Layla Alexander, Marina Tarkowskaya, Ebbo Demant, Hans Dieter Junger (author of the book Kunst Der Zeit und Des Erinnerns), and many others.
